FAQ
How Many Driving Lessons Will I Need?
The amount of driving lessons you need will depend on you. You may pick things up quickly, or you may need a little more time to nail manoeuvres. However, in our experience, for a brand new driver, who has never sat in the drivers seat, it will take on average 45 hours of tuition to get to test standard. Our team of experienced driving instructors will of course aim to get this down where they can for you, to save you time and money.
Do you have Female Instructors?
Absolutely! Next Mile Driver Training, was founded by a female instructor. Everyone has a preference when it comes to choosing their driving instructor. We have some female instructors in various areas, and we are able to discuss this with you. Do you teach Automatic, or Manual?
Currently, we are teaching in manual vehicles as more people wish to learn in a manual vehicle. However, as our network expands, we are looking to introduce driving instructors with Automatic Vehicles. Please reach out to us on our contact form to find out more about this availability.
Can I join an Intensive Driving Course?
Intensive Driving Courses are a great way of getting to test standard quickly, rather than spreading out lessons over a longer period of time. Intensive courses are provided over 2-4 weeks, with a test booked in at the end of that period. If you have a test date, and wish to take an intensive course, please contact us on the contact form to enquire.
Do I Need to Pre-Pay, or Can I Pay on the Day?
We request that all lessons are paid for at the time of booking with us. This secures your booking with your instructor. Especially for your first session, then you can turn up on the day, without the added stress of additional payments. All payments are run through our dedicated support team, so all you and your instructor need to do is book in and work together.
Can I do Block Bookings to Keep the Cost Down?
Absolutely, most pupils opt for 10 hour block bookings, meaning they can book 10 sessions in with their instructor, hassle-free. When you are ready for any more, give our Support Team a call, and they can arrange another block booking.
